As the former CEO of Adopters for Adoption, I successfully set up Adopters for Adoption in 2014=
With over 40 years of working in social care, I have always been committed to permanency, raising quality standards for children and their families and improving outcomes.
Having retired, I have maintained my links with Adopters for Adoption by becoming the Agency Decision Maker and have taken on the role of the Chair of the Polaris Quality Board.
My widespread knowledge and understanding of children’s social care includes child protection, early intervention, fostering and adoption. I am able to draw on my experience of working with looked after children and adopters to support Adopters for Adoption in approving adopters.
